The three terminals of a FET are called the

  1. emitter, base and collector
  2. gate, source and drain
  3. source, sink and gate
  4. base, gate and emitter

The answer is :- 2 Source and drain are the ends of the channel. The gate is the connection to the heavily-doped side regions.
