In Fig. 14.6, the collector current will be approximately

1. 800mA
2. 740mA
3. 120mA
4. 60mA

The answer is :- 4 Emitter current, I = V/R = 0.9/15 = 0.06 A = 60 mA. Emitter current I_e = I_b + I_c, thus I_c, the collector current, is approximately 60 mA.
