Celebrating “100 Years of Communication”
On Sunday 1st December, we tuned in on 17.2 kHz to receive a special message sent from the Grimeton Radio Station based in Sweden with the callsign of SAQ. The Grimeton Radio Station is celebrated a 100 years of operation. The Malta Amateur Radio League set up a station at the St. James Bastion Parking (Central Bank of Malta Parking) in Valletta. Transmission was at 1100hrs local time (0900hrs UTC).
